The Salem was an Egyptian ferry ship that sank on 14.12.1991 in the Red Sea near Safaga, killing several hundred passengers.

The wreck is located on the starboard side and lies at a depth of

12 - 33m. It has a length of 115m and a width of 17m.

Diving on this wreck is a unique and moving experience.
